I got notified about this some time back and thought it was very interesting and would be a fun addition to my collection. So I decided to purchase a couple of these replica 1870-CC half dollars from the mint museum. They are actually pretty stunning in hand, and it helps (for now) to fill in the gaping hole where a real 1870-CC would be. Did anyone else get one?

I was not aware of these...Might add one to my CC Morgan collection...Not normally into copies, but they are silver and from a good source. Cheers, RickO
