I have seen those. My Mom bought me a coin once from them.... then the promotional ads began to flow....Finally I contacted them and told them to stop.... They did. Cheers, RickO

Well nearly 30 years ago as a young kid I enjoyed seeing the Littleton ads. I did get a couple things from them, like a war steel cent set for $2.00 or something (likely with a FREE BONUS as well). As a kid with effectively no money, no Internet, and no coin shop within biking distance, I could see color pictures of coins and on very special occasions buy something.

Obviously, they are of no use to me now. But I enjoyed Littleton at the time.

I saw an ad for a walker and a merc in a small blue cardboard holder in the Sunday paper when I was in third grade. $4.95 if I remember correctly. Good deal or not, that got me my start. I've never bought anything from them since, but for what they mean to me, I treasure those two coins.

I still pick up the occasional promo from them, such as a short set of Sac dollars at face, etc.

Back in the late 80's I did like getting Silver Eagles in the Littleton holders, other than Capitol holders there really was not much protection for these, third party grading companies did not exist for moderns.

I never bought one from Littleton, but I bought a bunch from people who did.

The nicest 50-D Jefferson Nickel I ever owned came out of a Littleton clear plastic bag thingy. I believe it graded 66 Full Steps with our hosts. It just said "uncirculated" on the package.
