I think differently. He says it's been in the family over 20 years and he had a coin dealer look at it and the coin dealer suggested he put it up on ebay.......what say you?

I say the dealer suggested putting it on eBay so it would become someone else's problem.
Seller is full of crap. It was made within the past 10 years.

Actually I think that the first time this reverse die showed its face was in 2017. This example is a well used die. Here's a pic from June of 2018 when the die was fresh:
Both are gone.
Some of these fakes are getting too good. Even on the more common ones... YIKES !!!
