There are so many laughable listings on the Bay for so-called errors. Some of these folks (unlike the present subject) are probably truly just uninformed. But here's another one that makes me wonder if it's just plain fraud:
Sure, a 1929 Lincoln struck on a coin from a series that ended 17 years earlier! That's believable, right? After all, there's a "giant V on the back"! Who bids on these things?

SFB is back at it... https://www.ebay.com/itm/1999-P-Roosevelt-Dime-With-Rare-Mint-Error/113887089681
ED coin for $0.01 auction / $29.99 BIN... $3.74 shipping. Question: If I buy it for 0.01 and do a SNAD return, who pays for shipping????

Kathy, you would be correct to list that as an error as die polishing lines are an error.
But, you probably will not get any premium for such a coin, at least you would be honest, as opposed to guy in the OP.
If you paid for shipping you’d get it back under a SNAD with the money back guarantee.
I almost hope that someone buys it and then pays him a personal visit.
I knew it would happen.
As John Prine said "A question's not a question if you know the answer too."

i Hope this isnt what i was like, sheesh
No you were not, you listened to the experts and sent the coin in for grading.
Everyone was impressed with the way you handled it, precisely because the way this guy handled feedback is unfortunately much more common.

I think I mentioned not to send it in and sell it on eBay with a low start auction. I am tempted to bid on a large group of unique quarters.
