Though it’s a pattern it looks like an actual cent but proof.

I believe that there are a number of different variations too.....Dave Bowers or someone wrote about assembling the complete set once.
@Walkerguy21D I saw sum variations too online of the pattern proof, there was a interesting shelled design incorporated on the reverse, but I guess they took it off on the 1859 but put it back on for 1860-1909

Yes, these 1858 pattern cents were sold in a 12 piece set with 3 obverses x 4 reverses.

@yosclimber that’s one awesome pattern set 👍.
Never understood why the 1856 FE got an insane amount of attention while the 1858 Indian Cent with same design as 1859 was overlooked.
There are a number of circulated 1858's and some were struck looking like business strikes as well as proofs, just like the 1856.
If there had been an opening placed in cent folders for the 1858 like there was for the 56, then its value and popularity might be entirely different.

@carabonnar some of the obverse designs look like 3 cent nickels
@WinLoseWin I agree the 1858 Indian head dose deserve more attention. This is the birth of an icon, the Indian head cent.
That is a very cool set of 1858 IHCs!!
Also, it would make my life so much better if you spelled it s-o-m-e. Some. That extra keystroke is well worth it.
@david3142, one of those words I keep on misspelling, lol 😂😂😂😂 it’s “sum” world
The IHC was my first coin 'collected'...got it in change on my paper route... the fever has not abated....Cheers, RickO

If you look closely at the bottom row, you can see the 1st 2 are "round" bust and the last 2 "pointed" bust varieties.
The 1st one also comes with a 5 or 6 leaf reverse, as do the FE cent and the skinny "chicken cent".
That expands the 12 piece set to a "complete" set of 20 coins!
