Just added this nice Barber Dime RPD to my Variety Showcase Set.

This is a very nice RPD with all 4 digits showing some repunching with the 9 & 5 showing the most. This RPD is unlisted as far as I know. I bought this coin in a ngc-55 and cracked it out and sent to PCGS where it was graded the same 55. Thanks for looking and comments welcome. :)

05 coin 06 label. Am I missing something?

My bad. I grabbed the wrong label pic when putting together the whole pic. Will fix later. The label is correct in the holder.

Another nice example. The grade is right crossing over.

Nice coin. And interesting. I recently bought a 1905-S NGC53 for the "thin ribbon" reverse, and then discovered it had a RPD on the 5. I think it might be the same obverse die as yours, because the 9 and 0 seem to show a similar repunch. I didn't note anything on 1 but will look again. What do you do to publicly document your discoveries? Anything?

I think the 5 might actually be tripled.

My 9 and 0. Sorry, best image I could do at the time.

The reverse differences (might on right, not yours on left but same). A bit tough to find the "thin ribbon" reverse - I suspect only one die left in service. Interesting that the same obverse die was paired with both types, if that's indeed the case.

One of those "S"'s in inverted......look at the serifs.

I think it's just my crappy images. The longer serif is lower left. I know there are supposedly 3 different styles of S on these and I would think a "rotated S" would have been noticed by now, but you never know.

Still wondering if you do anything to formally document these. I pretty much go "that's cool" and move on.
