Its Friday...any new metals for the week?

We haven’t had a metal porn Friday thread in a while....anybody buying at these prices? I’ve been spoiled for too long buying gold in the low 1200 range so I haven’t really been buying any lately. I did however pick up these Mexican gold pieces during an Apmex special. Also grabbed a couple of vintage poured silver bars from the BST last week.
Some nice vintage metals;

Nice pieces... I like the old, crusty poured bars... Seem more interesting than the slick, new art bars....Cheers, RickO
Been too long @Downtown1974
Some of these were added last week, some longer. Always looking to purchase too.
Placement of purity stamp & weight are reversed, AND different font size on the Engelhard hallmark.
50g bar OR 1.608oz
Harrington family portrait.
Both pieces are very elusive. 1.875oz OR 5 Tolas JM Gold 996% pure. Only the 3rd example I've seen ever....
@cmanbb....Very nice .... I really like those gold bars....I have stuck with gold coins...but tempted to get a bar or two. Cheers, RickO

One I picked up a week or so ago.

Been awhile since the LCS having anything interesting matched up with me having money. Picked this stuff up today. Gold at melt , silver at +$1/ounce. I always like certified old gold, and have been slowly adding some silver...thought these bars were slightly more interesting than the regular apmex and silver town bars normally there.
As I only dabble in metals as a hobby, the price of metals didn’t bother me, just try to not pay much over spot.
Added these 3 over the past 7 days or so
. Glad to have them!
@cmanbb those gold Engelhard bars are off the charts!!!!
Today’s pick up...... My first Saint!

Thanks @mapleman!
And...in honor of your name, I’ll post my new silver Maple leaf. I over paid for the label but I wanted it to go with the gold Maple leaf that I had.

Small stuff depending on color I wholesale out at around $60/ct. The larger ones sitting out are all .2 or larger, with the largest in front being .99 and the others in from are .6 or so.
@jinx this is what I have. Tiny stuff.... got it from a watch mans junk lot with scrap gold. Turned the scrap into a nice profit. Now I have some gemstones lying around. Those I’m 100% sure are natural diamonds and rubies. Also a nice 5+ Ct. natural amethyst. Just don’t know about value. You got a clue? Thanks

@Kliao My guess is that the small stones might add up to .2ct so about $12. The larger stone might be worth a bit more depending on a number of factors. With small gemstones its very hard to pin down a value. Wish I could do it, as I have thousands to sort through.

I weighed the small stuff it weighs .8ct. So $48???

And to keep with topstuf's theme.
the horse you rode in on
This was a fun piece....I found it in a locker with a broken horn.
Never did find the horn and my business partner wanted to throw it out.
I said heck NO, I know exactly what it needs....I bet him $100 that I could fix it for 30 cents and it would sell for $30 or more when done.
Thinking outside the box, I made an extra $100.
hard to say, sometimes with ebay auctions if described and imaged right you can do quite well with loose diamonds. Certainly better than wholesale at times, but ten times the hassle.
