I love hearing the history behind certain coin finds. You have a link or something with your other pieces?

Geez! I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy! Hell, I shouldn't even be looking at such coins!!! Thanks for letting me look, and drool, though!!! :)

Look at all that mint red and luster flash. Very impressive. It amazes me the condition of these copper coins after all these years.

    What's not to love?

Just an amazing piece - you keep shocking us each time you post a newp, my mouth starts to water, and my heart does a lil twist of yearning and bet so many others do too here.

I got a PM asking if the coin was darker in hand. I personally have never seen it in hand but here are some cell phone pics from Oliver’s Registry:

    Very awesome! From PRCC?

Yes. We just completed a 6 coin transaction

Amazing.. Great addition. Only six more to go!

Actually...only 4 more. For some reason 2 aren’t yet assigned to the proper slots in the Registry.

    Now they are assigned

Have you considered creating a showcase for your type set? I'd love to see some of the other pieces as well.

    Eventually for sure

Some people don't think this is the coolest half-cent ever :s
    Some do :#

It’s beaned. At the Pogue sale, Stacks made the decision not to keep any beans on the coins. I’m not certain why - perhaps the overall percentage was too low

under light and in hand the coin is bright SP 68 full RD. Without light the coin looks about like in the fotos and more like RB.

Didn't they also have PCGS redo all the special labels, since the first bunch was not as legible? I can also see leaving the beans off to get a cleaner look to the collection, and, as you say, uniformity with those that didn't bean.

Private rare coin collector.- there is a very fresh collection of Large Cents coming up at Goldberg’s in February in case you are still having withdrawals from selling your 1794 half cent.
