The Red Book has prices for the various types of California fractional gold coins. Also, the PCGS Coin Facts web site has information on each BG type including auction results. This is a very thinly traded area of numismatics so getting accurate pricing will be a challenge.

You might get an idea by looking at the PCGS guide under California fractional with the understanding your coin was not graded by PCGS. Guides are merely guides.

Being an incurable gold bug myself, a picture would be appreciated. :) Cheers, RickO

An MS 62 sold at Heritage last April.....5760.00
There were 4 or 5 others in the last 10 years, but none at that grade (VF)......
