Please grade this Mickey Mantle-Hank Aaron card...

...because I like having other people opinions.

I had posted this for sale but I think I am ultimately going to send this in to PSA for their opinion.

The centering is off T/B but L/R is pretty solid, the corners are pretty sharp, the surface is really clean and I think the overall eye appeal is solid. Edges are clean and uniform and it measures out by my standards. That’s it. - no actual grade guess from me until later as I want honest assessments.

After your comment, I was looking at some straight 8’s to see if there were any I’m close to in new slabs; maybe 1 or 2 close though I think each may have me beat...

I would guess a range of PSA 4.5 to PSA 5.5

Classic card of two all time greats.
I would send in asking for no qualifiers.
Most likely a 5. Maybe a 5.5 on a good graders day.
Sometimes those line print marks don't seem to affect the grade.

I don't want to pop a pin in anyone's balloon, but I have cracked out numerous PSA 4s and 5s for my 60s raw sets that have similar eye appeal as the card in question. I'm not sure this card even has much of a chance to get more than a PSA 5 grade, to be honest. I think that is what @MLBdays was implying when he said "PSA 8(OC) is an hallucination". I interpret that to mean that there's no chance it gets the equivalent PSA 6 with NQ, and if that is indeed his evaluation, I would agree.

Quite sure. Zero doubt.

To be honest, the colors being bright and gorgeous is one of the factors that drew me to the card originally. I don’t collect by grade but by eye appeal and price since I usually buy raw items.

No grade given; just had to evaluate the card on its merits. An older card in my collection bought a while back.
