A Pile Left on the Coinstar Counter

SaorAlbaSaorAlba Posts: 7,481 ✭✭✭✭✭

Went by the Coinstar machine yesterday morning, the grocery store is being remodelled and the machine is hidden in a darkened area in the front of the store. Incredibly someone left most of this pile on the counter of the machine, the only coin in the reject slot was the '62-D dime.

A special thanks to whoever left this, all the Canadian and USA moderns will go into donation jars, the old Canadian, British 6d Bolivian coin and the three silvers will join the hoard.

Big find... that is quite a haul there...even some silver. I have not had any luck the last few weeks.... Cheers, RickO

I have struck out at the Coinstar everytime for months.

    But I'll keep checking.

    Congratulations on the score!

Wow ... very nice! My wife hates it every time I check a Coinstar machine as she says it embarrasses her haha. Your haul gives me inspiration to keep checking! :p

    Nice haul!

Makes one wonder why the person could not wait and and retrieve their rejects. Only wanted the “cash” receipt. Too much in a hurry.

Reminds of the commercial with a brain, frying pan, and an egg.

Nice find! My own Coinstar machine checks over the past two months have yielded exactly one badly corroded Lincoln Memorial cent and one Canadian quarter. I think may people who use these machines are now realizing that there is a reject slot.

    All glory is fleeting.
