19 CENT Same error through three roles

Clearly these all came from the same place at the same time. have you ever had an error show up on
coins through multiple new rolls? i went through three rolls and this crack was on every one in one state or another.

Yes. Also through tubes of Silver Eagles. In the old days it was one indication that a roll of coins was "original."

A die crack is an anomaly in the die. Why would it not show up on multiple coins from new rolls? Maybe every coin won't have it if the rolls contain coins from multiple presses, but if there is a die variety to be had and you have new rolls then you hit the jackpot. ;)

Have done this with rolls of Morgans....usually not 100% the same, but have found some that were obviously from the same die with more than 10 per roll.

If your a seller, keep them together and sell as a set and try to show the progression of the crack, i.e., getting longer, thicker, branching, etc.

    Someone might be interested.

Nice find... you certainly pick out the fine details. Cheers, RickO
