Lost 1864-L 1C MS65 RED PCGS CAC. Please keep an eye out.

SSRSSR Posts: 235 ✭✭✭✭

Please keep an eye out for this missing coin. The coin was LOST sometime between beginning of August up leading up to the ANA. Seems to have been lost in CA or IL. Steps have been taken, but your eyes wide open would be deeply appreciated to retrieve this beauty. Coin was purchased from Bjorn B who then sold it to Christopher S who then sold it to me. I added an extra large close up for pick up points. Contact - paradimecoins@gmail.com

"Coin was purchased from Bjorn B who then sold it to Christopher S who then sold it to me."

Makes no sense. Smoeone bought the coin from Bjorn, but Bjorn still sold it to Chris? Where does the loss fit in?

How did the loss actuate. Did you lose it in the mail? Did you fall out of your pocket? Please do elaborate.

The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Bjorn owned it, then sold it to Christopher S who then sold it to myself.

The loss occurred after i acquired the piece, and was lost somewhere between CA and IL, but not lost at the show

So I think you are saying:

    • You received the coin in CA
    • Intended to bring it to IL
    • You went to IL for the ANA show
    • When you unpacked in IL, you looked for it and could not find it.

Could be misplaced at home in CA.

One of the guys in our coin club could not find his type set for several months, and thought it might have been stolen.
Eventually he found it - in a paper bag behind a door in his house.
Perhaps you will be similarly fortunate.
