Anyone can be fooled by a really good counterfeit....however, if in the coin business, one should be very cautious and understand their products. You noted he had multiple fakes... that arouses my suspicions as opposed to just one fake coin. I would say he certainly should have known....and likely did know. His removal indicates - to me - he did know....otherwise he would have kept them and argued authenticity. Cheers, RickO
