My packages, especially registered, are always beautiful. My dad used to help me in the shop on Fridays after he retired. He always commented how great my packages looked as I ran out to the post office. I never photographed them though.....
It's just as easy to package something correctly as it is to do it poorly.
Now that is a nice package....@ReadyFireAim.... I would be very happy to get packages like that...Only rarely does it happen. more likely a battered bubble wrap... Cheers, RickO
Mine are not that pretty, but I usually bag it, tape it up, box it with a shipping label on it, then tape that box a lot.
THEN, I put it in a bigger box with more packing paper and tape that one up and place another copy of the same label on that one.
If the outer box breaks, the inner box will hopefully make it intact. I also make sure bulk coins don't jingle!!!

Your pictures remind me of the registered mail I used to get from the Mint during the salad years of accelerated aftermarket values.
I really appreciate the packaging I get from Provident, MCM and the other big dealers.
And BST’ers!

I cannot believe they put CAC on the return address though
If you google CAC, it's not even on the first five pages of google results. I wouldn't worry about that. Even if it said "Certified Acceptance Corporation", that's so vague and generic it wouldn't even attract any interest.

Is one that completely goes overboard, which is very appealing, in packaging.

Ever gotten a bubble mailer with loose silver dollars in it? I have.

My best packages are crush proof a(within reason) and waterproof.
Here is an example of CAC wrapping.

Very nicely done.

It sounds like the community expects boxes instead of envelopes (say the padded and tyvek types). At least for slabs.
Just looking for best practice for my own shipments.
I cannot believe they put CAC on the return address though

Who will admit after packaging and taping up a box you realize you forgot to put in the submission form?
Very easy to do with one of those neato tape dispensers.
Ask them how many they've had stolen.
I'll admit that

I bet 50% of "coin collectors" don't know what CAC is much less thieves.
There are also probably dozen of companies with CAC abbreviations
I promise to get a better job done if I ever sell or trade anything to anyone on the forum!
