I bought the Jack Hughes and Cale Makar out of the Rookie Signature shots set from 19/20 Engrained for my PC and loved the look of the cards, I ended up collecting the whole 45 card set. I love the signature on the carbon finer inserts. A nice change of pace over a sticker auto.

Very nice set! A similar thing happened to me when I started collecting sportscards. All it takes is loving the design of a particular card, Next thing you know, you're collecting the entire set. Personally, I'm not a hockey guy, but looking at your set reminds me that there are about 10 hockey players cards I want to pickup and add to the PC. Most, if not all should be on card. Thanks for sharing!
I don't collect as such, but auto cards are a favorite of mine - way more fun than NFTs.
Thanks man! Sticking to cards have been the staple so far. Your memorabilia pieces are amazing. Many of them I had never seen anywhere else before, or even knew existed. After lurking in the coin sections of this forum i may add a few coins to my collection.
I have to be honest, I dont know much about NFTs or fully understand it. Maybe sometime in the near future I'll look more into it. I like collecting things that I can physically hold in my hands (but thats a personal preference).

My first vintage card. A card of Curt Flood!
Flood should absolutely be in the HoF before almost anyone eligible for the Committees lists. Instead we're seeing players noticeably worse than he was, Parker, Garvey, considered and even elected (Hodges, Kaat, Baines, Fowler) with no comparison to Flood's historical significance. The only one elected/selected by the committees in the past twenty years who is remotely comparable in significance is Marvin Miller, though if John gets in as a builder he'll be worthy.

I hear ya. I never even heard of Curt Flood until about 4 years ago. A remarkable story. It's a shame he is still not in the HOF. I understand people want to make getting into the HOF "all about the numbers" (of which his wasn't shabby), but there's no denying the impact he had on the game (which had nothing to do with his stats on the field). Not just helping to start free agency in baseball, but the other professional sports as well.
When reading his story, the whole idea/ argument of "shut up and play" and "stick to sports" falls flat on its face.
