1858 Twenty Cent reeded edge specimen - SP63 - only six coins total graded by PCGS - PCGS pop 3/1. The reeded edged 1858 20 cent specimens are far scarcer than the plain edged ones. This one went cheap and I could not resist.

Nice snag
Latin American Collection
Very nice coin and I suspect under appreciated.
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
Very sweet-looking coin!

Love the design features. Beautiful. Great catch.
Rob, A very scarce beauty, as all your coins are
now, lets see the 1858 cent...

I like that one
Thank you Bosox.
I guess this coin is the "permanent dream about" coin for many /most large Cent c collectors (save the 1859 Brass)
Both of these coins are rarer than the brass 1859 cent.

As a relatively new canadian decimal coin collector I found your website to be an incredible aid to advancing my knowledge. Rob, thank you so much for providing the links and sound advice.
Thanks. I am slowly working on redesigning the website. The new site will use better photos of my collection to illustrate the different large cent varieties. I hope to go live with the new site in a few months.
Meanwhile I am finishing up a manuscript on large cent patterns, trials and specimens. I hope to have the book published early next year.

Are YOU going to publish it yourself, like the others or are you contracting it out? I remember how much fun you had with the others (joke!)
I talking with a Canadiam organization about publishing it.

Rob, there is a very reputable printer /publisher of high end items in the Vancouver, Bc area.
