Hi everyone I'm doing a project and getting diff autographed baseball from the players from the 500 home run club like frank thomas 521 hr. My question is what would be a good display for the should I go home plate shape and put them all in that? Thanks for any input. I know I can never afford all of them and would this project look crazy if I get ted williams and mickey mantle without their homerun total as $5k might push it.

I would suggest sticking with a basic rectangle look. 4-6 balls across. Cabinet with a face that opens. I built a couple using display cases from Michaels. Looked nice.
I don't think it would look crazy if you get Mantle, etc. without home run totals.

If shelf space available?
A reasonable way to go?
Ball cubes - the steps are 250 ct. plastic card boxes - both ball cubes and boxes are in the 2+ dollar range - so display is very reasonable.
Michaels has a nice box for $40 that holds 16 balls. They usually have BOGO sales as well so you can pick up a couple pretty cheap.

They also had these on BOGO two weeks ago. They are regularly $18. I bought everything they had. It makes for a nice card display in the office.
