Do you recommend Bowers' Guide Book to Washington Quarters?

Just what the title says. I'm thinking of buying it.
If not, can you recommend an alternative. Eagle reverse Washingtons are my series.

I don't have that particular book, but overall I'd recommend anything Bowers writes.
I do not have that one, however, based on what I know of those publications, it would surely be worth it. Cheers, RickO
It's not too bad for silver but it's worthless for clad.
john Feigenbaum does a better job with "The Complete Guide to Washington Quarters". -'94
Oh...
Wexler and Flynn do a superb job with "The Best of the Washington Quarter Doubled Dies" -'99 but it has a narrower scope.
If it's anything like the Barber Books...it's not much help. Doesn't help at the time it was released the pricing information was ridiculous. Without looking it had many dates of Barber Half's listed in VF @ $85 when bid was $110! Was a retread IMHO!
are you talking about Bowers' book on Barbers?

Thank you all for your help...
Yes!
I purchased several of the Bower's guide books and the ONLY one I thought was worth the money was the book on Peace dollars. That book was quite good. However, it was written by RWB not Bowers.
Thanks, Mark!
It is a good overview.
I offered to do better, but Dave beat me out

Wish I could've contributed!
One finally appeared at a Barnes & Knoble near me and I was sure that it was going to go home with me.
After flipping through it I guess I felt it wasn't necessary because I didn't buy it. Not sure why but it didn't impress me.
I am willing to give it a second chance if I see another one.
