Just added a very tuff variety to my Barber Dime Set..........NOT Ricko approved!

I Cherrypicked this 1897 RPD 301 on Ebay back in April and resently sent it in for grading and attribution. I thought the "scrape" on the neck was a strike thru, but would have gotten this coin anyway. As you can see all 4 digits in the date are widely repunched. Thanks for looking and comments.

The scrape wouldn't bother me for such a cool RPD. Nice pickup. What do you use for a reference? Lawrence has this as "101".

This variety is in the CPG and thus is in the PCGS Registry which is the name they give it.

Nice find and the brown toning on that date is acceptable to any collector. I love me dark and dirty Type coins. They tend to be less likely to have been messed around with. Congratulations on your score, great picking indeed.
