I usually chalk it up to ignorance, but you see this sort of thing a good bit on eBay. A seller will try to sell a coin at graded PO01 prices when really it is dateless, got beat up by a hammer, looks like it spent a year in a parking lot, etc.

A coin can properly be called PO-1 if that is what its details grade out to. The fact that a TPG wouldn't slab it has nothing at all to do with whether or not it has a grade. All coins have a grade. Not all coins are certifiable, though.
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.
I guess someone will buy it.... why, I do not know.... I would probably take it if it were free... for silver value... other than that... I walk on by.... Cheers, RickO

It is on Ebay...that is all the explanation that is needed. Stupid prices, mostly stupid sellers.
