Your cull 'CC' title makes me think about a cull CC coin I bought many years ago.
It was a half dollar, and it was folded in half. You could see it was an 1870, but that's all anyone knew.
I bought it in a deal back in 1979, didn't even pay attention to the folded half.
It laid in a box for months until I decided to un-fold it. When I did, it revealed it's 'CC' mintmark.
    My mouth hung open......
I sent it to Kamal Awash, Mr. Seated Liberty, for an offer. He sent me 3 hundred something dollars. For a kid, trying to get his business going, it was a windfall. I met Kam a few years later at the Boston ANA in 1982. He remembered the coin. The poor guy was starting to become ill. I think he was gone shortly thereafter.
I was so happy to have been able to tell him how much that deal had meant to me.

Thank you for that story about Kam. I had the pleasure to know him and am most thankful for it. He was one of the most gracious people I’ve ever met and he was very kind and helpful to me.

Yes Mark, that was the only deal I had ever done with him and the only time I ever met him, but I could tell that he was special......

It looks like a fake but just color it in and call it real. Haha. That cull is a cull and you might just have started a new theme here. It looks Like a——- But call it ————-
