A Time capsule ANACS photo certificate

Sandman70gtSandman70gt Posts: 1,002 ✭✭✭✭✭

Thought I'd share this one.
I've been playing around on a ANACS photo cert set.
I came across this one with coin in original holder and in an original envelope.

I probably handled that coin. As the new guy I photographed coins during that time period.

    Capt:

I wasn't collecting at that time period - don't know the price history for that coin - - was there much value added at the time sending it to ANACS for that opinion?

Probably not, but our base fee was only $6, plus shipping. Send in a batch of coins and the shipping per coin isn’t much.

    Very neat!

Always buying nice toned coins! Searching for a low grade 1873 Arrows DDO Dime and 1842-O Small Date Quarter.

Well being a new guy back then, you handled it well and left no identifying fingerprints! ;)

I bought one of those from Jake's back at that time.
They must have moved a lot of them.
There was another thread referencing that within the last month or two, I think......

Nice piece of coin history....Would be good in a display depicting TPG history and evolution. And a nice coin as well. Cheers, RickO
