We both live in the same area of the SF Bay Area. We recently traded PMs after I saw him post a photo of a 1950 proof quarter he is having graded.

Some enjoyable time was spent talking coins.

He showed me his Avatar coin, a 1938 proof quarter that has attractive toning, mirrored fields and surprisingly frosted obverse devices and frost on the eagle's breast on the reverse.

His 1938 quarter would go great with Skyman's Cameo 1938 Walker and if my memory is correct Cameonut's Cameo 1938 cent.

Well I really enjoyed my visit with SanctionII today. He really does does have an incredible set of proof coins. I really learned a lot about proof coins and will be a good resource.

...that’s pretty cool fellas...The East Bay Area was home for me 20+ years back...it never left me and never will...home of Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream & Clorox Bleach...the A’s are the only professional crew left, trapped in The City of Dope...BART stations and crime-scene investigations...still playin ball in the same concrete jungle with bathtubs for pissers....However, I will Always have Mad Respect for The Bay, it’s grown-man sh*t out there, starting from pre-school on

That is cool that you both live close enough that you could meet up for a show and tell. @SanctionII does have the eye for those proofs and @norcaljack is always eager to learn about the series he loves. What a great way to spend a few hours on a weekend.....Enjoy.
