I assume you've both blocked them and reported the spam, and that their account will be poofed Monday.

Maybe so but there's really nothing that YOU or I could do to stop it except report it and hope the spammer gets banned.

Unless there is a way for a software modification that PMs can only be sent after X number of posts. Maybe 5 should be the threshold.
