Maybe so but there's really nothing that YOU or I could do to stop it except report it and hope the spammer gets banned.
Unless there is a way for a software modification that PMs can only be sent after X number of posts. Maybe 5 should be the threshold.

Possible maybe, but not sure the problem is severe enough at this point.
I thought there was an approval process when signing up here. I seem to recall it taking 24-48 hours before I could log in.
