A couple of 1795 acg offerings at a local auction

I’m tempted to go just to see where they hammer.
Both coins look rough. I’m assuming they’re real but don’t want to bet on it myself

I’ve had some degree of success at small local auctions. If you’re going to bid on a coin assume the worst case scenario, then lower your bid 50%. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

    That would be 50 cents.

I would go, I'd like to see them in person

I would definitely go just to evaluate them in hand....then, if authentic, stay to watch the bidding...yep, sometimes there are bargains....Cheers, RickO

Hard to tell from the pictures and no reverse shots, but the "3-leaves" obverse doesn't seem to match the variety O-111. Maybe ACG mixed up the holders?
Be sure to check for evidence of plugs and repair. The "2-leaves" looks like it has one after LIBERTY.
