Several things of note for me....... healthy prices of course....... a large amount of raw card dealers......huge amounts of modern of course......and you can tell vintage is drying up.....and lastly just a complaint of mine but so many people put there bags down on display cases that others are trying to look in. Not cool!

Vintage unopened is drying up or vintage in general?
Was pwcc there?
Just me but the last thing I’m looking for when I go to AC next year is raw anything

Being an east coast guy myself, A.C. is going to be my first National next year as well. Been wanting to go for many years. With that said, I can’t believe that’s where they are having it. I figured another city on this side would land it...I mean...A.C.? 😂
AC is easy as hell to get in and out of. Forget the surroundings lolz

I mean vintage wax is drying up. It is crazy to me how many Aaron, Clemente and Koufax rcs I saw. Very few Brady SP’s to be had. Quite a few Jordan’s but not near as many as a few years ago in cleveland. Although one dealer told me he sold 43 psa 8 Jordan’s to one person at 2k a pop. Yes 86k! One more thing that makes me mad and I know it won’t stop but I have to vent...... all the deals that are done prior to the show! The normal person doesn’t get a shot at so many great items
Yes, PWCC and Brent was there in all his glory/shame. Their stall looked pretty bare. My first national, Just overwhelming to say the least. Prices way too high when I can buy the same card for a full 10 to 20 percent less on Ebay or elsewhere. Just too much raw stuff to really look through. I was exhausted today after my 7 hour drive so I will give it a better go tomorrow. Had a card reholdered on a two hour turnaround, dropped it off at 430 kept checking and it said in assembly. Go back at 750 as the show is closing to ask what the deal is and it is sitting on the shelf done. Lady gives me my card, I check my phone again and says still in assembly. Jeez!!!
I thought there were less vendors but I may be wrong. I was looking for about 5 particular graded cards so I went fast and passed half of the vendors if they didn’t have graded cards. I felt like the graded cards were dominated by 50-60’s baseball and modern in the last 5 years. After getting to the hotel I can think back on things. Didn’t see a single 84 Donruss Mattingly psa 10
I’ve gone many times including last year in Cleveland. I was going to go but it’s a 10 hr drive and well I haven’t been able to buy anything the last two years so decided against going. No bargains and just not into new stuff so I will stay home and veg.
@VintagemanEd Great report. Keep 'em coming. Have a good time.
Yes, keep the reports coming please. I am enjoying hearing about this . Feel free to throw in a good consession stand fight story.
Any pictures?
Andy
Yes, pictures would be nice. Try to include some pictures of Brent in a headlock.
How is the WI-FI this year?
Would love to see some more close up pics/videos of the unopened in the BBCE Booth.
Report:
I believe it to be a slightly bigger than usual show in Chicago plus pretty busy so far. All areas of the convention center are in use. Bought a 1962 PSA 6 Mantle today. Paid about the same as recent auctions. It is well centered and solid for the grade. However, a couple cards I wanted to purchase were much too high and the dealers wouldn’t budge. PSA area is very busy. Final note: hate the concrete floor, hard on the feet and knees!!
Another observation..... Ty Cobb t206 cards are not as hard to find as most people think. I know there are back variations but I bet I saw 50 of them have
