Spiel Marke token "Strasburger & Nuhn Importers, New York"

Here is a piece I picked up a while ago, but I just got around to imaging it:
Strasburger & Nuhn "Spiel Marke" circa 1860


These pieces obviously mimicked the $20 double eagles and were intended as game counters or "play money." This one had advertising for the Strasburger & Nuhn business in New York City, which was a sort of department store of its day. It is one of the scarcer tokens in this genre, and when found is usually beat up. This is an attractive example that I was happy to pick up as an aside to my civil war token from the same firm.
