Dimeman's Springfield Coin Show Report....
Sunday I went up to the Springfield Coin Show. The C.I.N.A. Club, which I still belong to to puts on 3 of these a year. Anyway I got to see my coin buddies...except for Charlie who passed away last month and visit with the usual dealers that set up at this show. I also got to see Chris from the boards here and look at his new Proof Buffalo Nickel. Chris also usually makes all 3 of these shows.
My take from the show was 3 Washies. Two hole fillers and one upgrade. Also picked up a 1827 Bust Dime PCGS25 CAC. I thought it was a JR # I needed, but I don't think so now. Anyway the 3 Washies were: 1940-D DDO 101 PCGS65, 1939-D/S 501 PCGS64 and the upgrade was the 1950-S DDR PCGS65, which replaces a 63. The 1940-D DDO 101 has a T.V. so I will show that here. The other 2 will have to wait until I get pics taken. The 40-D 101 is a very tuff variety with only 3 in this grade a 2 higer.

No Roosies scores??? Or have you completely gone to the quarters?
Later, Paul.
Oh yes, I still look for Roosies. No luck on them at this show.
I left about 2.
Didn't set up this year but it's always been a great show.
Thanks for the report. Was bullion active? Any foreign dealers?
There are usually several foreign dealers there. As fa as bullion......I have zero interest it that so I can't say.
Thanks for the show report. Although when you mentioned Springfield coin show this is what came to mind:
Pacific Northwest Numismatic Association
Congrats on the new picks ...... you are at the stage where anything you need be in the tuff column right?
A problem all of us wishes to bear
Yes, it is getting to that point. Good to see you back PF! I hope everything is great with you.

Thanks for your report and pic of your newp.
nice quarter! I love the when Washington quarters have the ever so subtle toning such as the reverse of your coin has.
