Received a bottle as a Christmas gift. I'm not a bourbon connoisseur, but I think it's pretty good. I didn't see any coins in the bottle, but I'm sure if I drink enough, I'll probably start seeing some 1792 pieces in my pocket change :D

    Where’s the Jefferson’s?

Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?

A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.

A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.

I was referring to both bottles, one representing the passage of the Mint Act of April 2, 1792, the other being the name of the first Mint Director. Was it chance that those two were put side by side? Pretty strange.

Maybe the shop’s owner is a numismatist?

Either brand would work but I saw Rittenhouse first too.

The shop owner is the province of Ontario. Maybe the store manager is, but I doubt it.

I think he was referring to both, which is why the picture is framed the way it is.
