"DEE WEE TEE" Lincoln Cent

I'm usually not interested in filled or worn die coins (such as the 1922 Lincoln Cent), but I have held onto this Lincoln Cent that I found more than 40 years ago.

I have no idea what a 'dee wee tee' is .... could you elaborate? Cheers, RickO
As can be seen in the photo, "D WE T" is all that remains of "IN GOD WE TRUST."
Welcome to the forums @cinclodes.
Interesting pocket cent you have. What’s the reverse look like?
The reverse looks normal (no sign of wear or filling of the die). I've been hoping for all these years that another one like it (from the same die) might turn up.
Is this a recognized variety listed somewhere? Or is it just a worn die trait. Peace Roy

That's more like a grease filled die.....
If the reverse is normally struck, then it's a debris filled die error
Love the D WE T ! Neat find.
The Obverse has been... "deeweeted"
Collector, occasional seller
That’s p”erty”.
Filled die error.
I love your description! And welcome!
Grease filled die. Not likely to find another, at least not identical, so no reason to hold your breath.
@cinclodes.... Thank you for the explanation...and I agree with the grease filled die explanation. Cheers, RickO
Seems appropriate.
