Bought this antique at a yard sale and spent 4 hours restoring it. Looked at it and thought how great some coins would look sitting in it. Just had to have it....

Wow! Looks beautiful and antique... You must also ensure that coin collecting accessories don’t just look good but also offer the right kind of protection for your valuable collection because looks can sometimes be very deceiving.
Nice display cabinet.... Will be nice to display a series....security could be an issue though. Cheers, RickO
Yes i understand the security issue. No place where I live to have it for direct public display anyway. More for personal enjoyment where I can have my full set visible to me while I shop online for upgrades instead of digging through my blue boxes.

That is well worth the time and costs beautiful display!
I would love to display my stuff but I’m worried about security I keep everything in my safe and enjoy views in my register set but on the other hand I’ve got a serous cigar collection that I can lock but don’t isn’t that strange?

Gorgeous display cabinet. The slabs fit inside perfectly.

I like it too it looks really nice. Do you have any idea what it was originally intended to display?
All I know is it was salvaged from a school here on the plains before the building was leveled.

nice, I like
I first suspected that it was for storing player piano music rolls, but I don't think they are as wide as 8 slabs....? Maybe someone else will recognize what it is.
Very nice indeed!
