So you’ve been rubbing on your coins?

If you want to investigate whether it has the wrong metallic composition,
you will need an accurate weight for it.
The photos do not look unusual to me.

I have to ask - what does a token feel like? :|

Your cent was struck from a worn die. In addition it suffered some environmental damage causing the blotchy color. There also appears to be some corrosion/zinc for on the reverse. Just a regular circulated zinc cent.

I agree with the above evaluations.... a worn, damaged cent. I do not know how the indentation on the reverse (also obvious on the obverse) occurred. Cheers, RickO
