1979 Topps Baseball Wax Case

For those that collect unopened, I'm curious if anyone knows of any sealed '79 baseball wax cases that have surfaced? In my attempt to collect FASC wax, I've managed to find every year from '77 to '89 with this being the one exception.

On the football side, I've been unable to find any '82. Also '85 and '88 that do not bear the "x-out" markings.

I don't recall seeing one since I got back into the hobby around 2011. If I come across a FASC box, I will drop you a line. I keep an eye on the vast majority of auctions even though I am rarely in buy mode these days. Can't help myself.

Always buying 1971 OPC Baseball packs.

    Interesting.

I don't remember a wax case - I do remember cello, rack and tray sealed cases.

Why not email Steve Hart and enquire?

There have been a few 1979 cello cases surface over the years but I can't recall seeing a 1979 wax case or one designated FASC, at least.

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

I have in the past, but not for awhile -- good idea, will shoot him an email soon.

Appreciate that! Anything topps wax (all 4 sports) is likely to be of interest if it fills any holes.

Tray cases are basically wax cases :) Just without the cardboard box
