Found this on a search. it has a completely round edge.
never seen one like this and don't really know if it's a stamp error or what. any ideas?

There is really no way for that exact look to be created in the minting process, and there are many ways to do it outside of the mint.
Sometimes a coin can get stuck in a washing machine, for example.

Looks like a dryer coin. Occasionally a coin will get stuck between the rotating and stationary drums of a commercial dryer. The tumbling will cause the rims to widen and the devices to become flattened and appear mushy. Sometimes the rim will start to fold over.

Here's mine, which not surprisingly has a smaller diameter compared to a normal cent.
I believe my cent was removed from circulation by my Grandmother sometime in the early 20th century.
