Thanks everybody. Funny thing is this is a goodwill location that I’ve never gotten anything to speak of from. This is my first score from this particular store.
I can imagine the people discussing it as they put it on the shelf. "I don't know, it's signed by some guy named sterling. I'll put $3 on it and see if anybody bites."
"May the silver waves that bear you heavenward be filled with love’s whisperings"
"A dog breaks your heart only one time and that is when they pass on". Unknown
Do you sell these or add them to a collection? The little double leaf piece looks nice. The bigger quad-tray thing... I think that would look better as an ingot.
Wow I’ll post a pic when I get home, but I got a sterling flatware set for $18 around 60 pieces. I almost fainted when I saw it! It was at a garage sale

All I ever pick at the local goodwill is vintage video games and electronics. Would love to add to my bucket of Gold-filled before sending off.
Where do you send it off to?

Those Goodwills have earned their certificates of academic deficiency! I wonder what their national headquarters would think of their incompetence? They have a fiduciary duty to value donated goods properly.
@Kliao
Work contact, not a refiner whose name I tend to use as they dont buy from the public. Im nearing the 15 pound mark, but with gold moving up I might ship before that. Typical yield is 2.5-4% of overall weight, so would expect 5.5 ozt of gold.

Your Goodwill store is like a silver mine. Congrats.
Awesome, I tried for years and years and nothing but silver plate. Looks like you have your own urban silver mine. Congrats!!

Good going, felt inspired and just went to the local... Couple silver plated items but no Sterling. One of these days perhaps.

@ChrisH821 these were sold the next morning, but if I find better pieces I keep them as I am a silver collector just as much as a coin collector.
