Probably is but not worth much in it's condition.
Edited to add: No proofs were made in 67 but they did make a special mint set (SMS) and my guess is its probably one of those, unless someone went nutty with a polishing wheel.

Can you match your title to the question, please?
That's clearly a 69 penny restruck with 67 date. I'd value it at 500k.
Cripes....yes indeed it is a 67. Sorry bout that
Correct me if I am wrong, but there were no proof sets in 1967, only Special Mint Sets.
If your cent is from one of those, it is impaired from circulation.
I just could not figure out why in a big pile of brown 60s pennies there was this gleaming beauty.
Gleaming is not that uncommon as full rolls of coins from that era may be worth 75 cents or so, about 1 1/2 cents each, so someone might have had an original bank roll break open, and at that point, the basically have 50 cents, and just turned them loose, even though they are 50+ years old.
Howdy and welcome.
It ins't a proof cent (there were no proof sets made that year) and is likely a coin that came from an old bank roll of cents that someone deposited in a CoinStar machine or the bank. It would be difficult to suggest it worth more than a couple cents, but it is still mighty cool.

Welcome to the forum @White_Beard_TN.
Nice find from an old bank role.
It's worth face value and nothing unusual.
@White_Beard_TN....Welcome aboard.... It is always startling to find such a coin in a roll of brown cents.... As stated above, it is not a proof... likely resided either in an old roll of coins that were finally disbursed, or in an old album that has been broken up.... No real premium involved, but fun to find. Cheers, RickO
