A common discount amount.
If missed this time, it'll be back later.
$24.99 over spot is a good deal for gold Buffs....random date, but still nice...Cheers, RickO
its actually 29.99 but good enough for this market. About 6 months ago I paid $16.99 at apmex.
Agreed but premiums are generally higher right now.
@mapleman ... The link posted says $24.99.... Is that a misprint?? Cheers, RickO
You are correct, my bad.
I may rethink not buying this. Will see where market goes in next hour or so. Thanks for the heads up.
it seems more like a $30 premium than a $25 dollar one.
Its showing 25 over now.
Nice but plus $137 in tax for me. Unfortunate.
That's tough to take.
I wonder if this will cause increased numbers of bullion dealers at shows in taxed states?
Thanks for sharing this.
many dealers at major shows know the local tax laws and abide by them
Completly understandable.
But, there are lots of local shows to attend. Hobbyists abound.
eBay plus bullion taxes equals no mas
If I don't buy this coin I will make $70 dollars in interest for every year that I continue not to buy one.
what state are you in?
I am currently in a peaceful state, thank you for asking.
That's heavy. Please advise where you reside.
Deal of the day now on apmex ebay special price deals. I can't post the link right now but it's oz age random date at + 14.99.
I now reside in the state of “Master Collector.”
So that means, more purchasing. More acquisitions. Less taxation.

Thanks I'm on my phone and links are problematic for now.
Congratulations on your promotion. I just noticed yours.
Congratulations back to you mapleman.
I remember the good all days when it was front and center near your moniker.
Back when a man could depend on a title to determine his pecking or bullying order in the group.
Five stars works well for me.
Oh, IC, I thought that was how popular I am and how old and dependable of a product I have become.
Enjoy your promotion and stars.
Carpe Diem.

Yep something like that for me too. I will just not buy bullion if I have to pay sales tax on it.
Successful transactions with: wondercoin, Tetromibi, PerryHall, PlatinumDuck, JohnMaben/Pegasus Coin & Jewelry, CoinFlip, and coinlieutenant.
Nor will I. I do think it's possible that the drop in internet sale s to taxing states will begin to force premiums down by the major players like apmex.
In fact the last two weeks have had some decent premiums from apmex and bpm. Its been about 5 Or 6 months since there were many to be found.
Fotunately I'm in a non taxable state and one adjacent state has no sales tax at all and the other has exempted 1k minimum purchases.
Anyhow I enjoy the hunt.
The eagle deal is still up.

Yesterday, in St. Louis I was getting the idea that gold is being sold at low premiums. One dealer asked me what I was selling, and after some brief conversations with him and another dealer, I confirmed that most attendees were trying to sell something, and that practically nobody was buying.
I've been mulling the idea of assembling a set of 2010 AGEs and Buffs in PCGS 70 for my grandson, and when I saw a 2010-W Proof Gold Buff in PCGS PR-70 FS in a case, I inquired the price. I had to do a doubletake. I bought it for $40 over @ $1,465.
It does seem to be a buyer's market.
If I am lucky, it won't be this way when I get ready to sell some stuff.
I knew it would happen.
@jmski52 Nice job on the purchase!
