Just sending prayers to everyone along the Gulf Coast and our neighbors who are affected by Barry. I live in Louisiana, and we have gotten quite alot of water and damage in several areas.

Many of us have not yet recovered from the last Barry.
I work with a lot of people who were affected back in 16, some who just finished their houses,or have not even quite finished since the major flood. My wife runs a mental health practice, and sees many people dealing with the trauma these disasters have left in their wake. My heart goes out to each and every person affected.
Such major disasters are incredible setbacks for people... even if insured (and many, many are not), it displaces people, they lose homes and possessions, and possibly family.....It is tough, even for the strongest among us. Cheers, RickO
Yes indeed, it causes so much heartache. Our state just finally decided to start releasing the money for people from the 16 flood last week, and now we get to top it off with this one....I know people who now have 2 mortgages on their home because they had to pay to completely rebuild from the ground up, not to mention having to raise their houses upwards of 12 ft in the air in some cases.
