    B.D. isn't going anywhere until the end of next season. If anyone would have been able to trade for B.D. it would have been Chicago with #2 so the Hornets could get Jay Williams as a replacement.

    I dont think the Iverson for Bibby trade would work out anyway. Iverson probably makes a lot more money. I wouldn't want that to happen either.

    battie sux.. fortson on the other hand is one of the best defensive forwards in the nba + an excellent rebounder. if you let him play 30 minutes a game he'll easily average 13-14 boards. He'd complete Shaq perfectly

    lol have you seen that guy play? samaki walker averages 7-8 boards, horace grant averaged 8 boards, I'm telling ya.. Fortson would average 13-14 boards EASILY, even with Shaq next to him, cauz he'd get more roomth because of the double teams shaq draws

    I agree.. but as wel all know basketball is a TEAM sport and Iverson sux on a TEAM.. bibby on the other hand is great on a TEAM.. the last thing the Kings can use is a selfish kid like Iverson to mess up their team spirit.. (o my god, I can't believe I wanna make the Kings better lol)

    t1mac...mille isnt the one that gets to chose to leave or not. the organization decides upon that. and that trade is still possible cuz magic wants a big man down low and they dont really need miller. magic still made it to the playoffs w/o miller and also, miller would be complaining about playing time cuz hill is gonna be back next yr.

    and fortson is a exellent rebounder for a man his size. he's only 6-8. thats the height of ur tmac or ur avg. sf. he'd be a monster if he was 7 ft.

    How bout' this one Kobe for anyone who's not a choking stuck on himself egomaniac?...Actually I hear the Lakers are gonna offer him 54 million to stay 4 more years..I think he should cause w/out Shaq he'd be just another great player stuck on a team going no where..Face all trades aside as long as the Lakers have Shaq they're going to dominate for the next several years..

    Yeah Derrick, your opinion should hold a lot of weight. You think that Kobe is the best player in the league, when he isn't even the best player on his own team. Let's look at some facts:

    Lakers = 3 NBA Titles

    Kobe = ZERO NBA Finals MVPs

    You'd think that if he were the best player in the league, he would be able to wrestle at least one MVP trophy from his own teammate. So you give me a break

    undertaker- Would you be saying shaq is #1 when he would of lost to tim duncan if kobe wasn't around? Shaq was averaging 21 ppg vs duncan and without kobe taking over games. The lakers wouldn't of got passed the spurs. Kobe lead in crunch time and lead in points before the finals started just like every other year.

    Kobe is then told to take less shots and let shaq pound a great center like todd macc- Kobe avg 19 shots per game in the finals and avg 26 ppg, shooting 50+%, 8 rebs, 5 assists. Give kobe 10 more shots and what would he average jerik? Kobe doesn't need to wrestle shaq for finals mvp- He's much more mature than that.

    crunch time the lakers rely on kobe not shaq.

    The opinion of NBAologist seems to be that without kobe, shaq doesnt win...BUT, Shaq can take on anyone. He is the most dominant center, if not palyer in the league. So, if Kobe was gone, doesnt that jsut mean shaq would get more ball and more points, with FIsher Horry and Fox Playing supporting roles?

    Im not a basketball fan, so please dont jump on me if i am wrong. Its just how i see it.

    nash I never said shaq doesn't win. I said he wouldn't win a title without kobe. BIg diffrence. It goes vice versa buddy. Jordan never won without pippen and pippen never won without jordan. Jordan had his chances to win solo, but never did. Iverson can't win solo and never will and NOBODY will win solo period. It takes a team that knows each other very well to win a title not 1 good player.

    he should be running point anyways at his hieght but he cant drop dimes like he can chip paint so either position it dont mean a thing to me

    Iverson use to play pg, but choose to be 2 guard. A shooting guard should shot over 40% though.

    Brown didn't put ivo as a 2 guard ivo put himself as a 2 guard which isn't working.

    Also Fortson is the REAL DEAL. I live in San Francisco so i see him play. Hes the only guy on the team who can play. The guy is a monster on the boards. There hasnt been anyone like him since Rodman-He 'bounds like Rodman without the dress & hair. He would get 14 with Shaq-He averaged 19 the first week of the season before he got hurt. The problem is...Who would the Warriors trade for him. I mean they need help everywhere but the Lakers have nobody of any value to offer-except possibly a draft pick which they might not want cause its so late in the first round and youd have to guarantee the guy 3 years of $$$$

    I don't know what they can offer for him.. maybe Samaki Walker who had some sort of breakout season.. or Devean George if he resigns (some sort of sign and trade deal) or maybe even for lindsey hunter, ya never know..

    I dont know if the Bucks would want to deal with Sprewell. I think the only headache wed take on is Payton. Although Sprewell may want to return here cause this is where he grew up and went to HS, but I wouldnt want this guy here. His salary is through the roof and he is a headache
