The Libertas Americana is a truly historic medal, and I applaud you for picking one up!
That said, grading from photos is uncertain, but looking at those photos, I do not think it would be valuable enough to merit the cost of having it graded. You can certainly enjoy its history without that cost of grading!
If you seek a higher graded example, the 2014 restrike is not rare at all, and better specimens are out there that can be had at favorable prices - even ones that are already TPG graded.
I never get tired of seeing this design! I love it so much I made it a screen saver
on my Alexa Show......for those that don’t know what it is, a voice control with a screen so you can watch videos
and make video calls.
I have several different one. Some graded and one or two I bought raw. Neither are worth sending in for grading
because they look like yours. It was affordable so I enjoy it raw. Matter of fact one raw one is toning deeply
and looking nice.
I will agree with cardinal that if you want a better specimen then slabbed is the way to go

I agree... Keep it as is.... and enjoy a beautiful Libertas....Cheers, RickO
I don’t think you can make it “like new” again. I might try using it as a toning experiment. Could have a nice result.
@cardinal Thanks, I think I will make it my pocket piece.
@coinsarefun Thanks, I also have one that is PCGS slabbed but when I saw this at a good price I have to buy it. I like the idea of toning it naturally though (without using any chemical), any suggestion? I also have a 2006 Bronze restrike raw and keeping it that way for now.
Thanks to all.
@Knell as for as toning go I guess it depends we’re you and how much humidity is present.
I live in Southern California and have a small safe so I just put in on the shelf.
Other people just leave it out on the dresser. Still more put it in there sock drawer.
Have fun and if it start to tone, post it please
