Veeerrrry Interesting!
(RIP Arte Johnson).
That was a very funny show (Laugh In).
Funny artwork, too. Was this a grammar school contest entrant?
A very busy design!
I like that one... have not seen it before....Any background information on mint quantities? Cheers, RickO
According to HK these are inscribed “A. P. Starke”. Anyone know have information on Starke?
Love the bear! Hopefully we can identify A. P. Starke and attribute this piece better.
HK-418 in bronze, R-6 and not seen very often, looks a little rough with maybe some un-struck planchet flaws and the sort of tone that looks similar to some of the Greenduck Dollars from 1934. I say MS61/AU58.
Looks like the bear is wearing a bandana around his neck. Great use of the whole surface of both sides of a planchet. Peace Roy
