Here is a card I picked up in March, 2018 .... I picked it out of the closet to compare it to what they are going for now....Probstein has a PSA/DNA 10 expiring tonight currently at 1,300 plus.... He is having tremendous year thus far for a 21 year old....IF he can improve his BB to K ratio and get his OPS at or near 1.000 he could be the second coming of Mike Trout.... its still real early yet but well worth watching. I see a lot of raw athleticism similar to #23 R. Clemente.

Won last night, paid for today. I'm ever-so-slowly picking away at my well-centered, high-grade Schmidt run.

I don't buy that many cards anymore but when I find a yellow card with this amount of lower border I am going after it. Mil Mascaras was amazing in the ring and a huge movie star in Mexico. A great card!
Can't wait to get this one in hand:

This is more of a "pull" that a buy - from a pack - a box of 2019 Topps Museum
Tatis auto - the guy is playing great on an OK team - batting something like .337 with 11 HRs and 61 hits!
Wow, a Tatis on card auto /25 ! Amazing pull!

Amazing posts so far !! A few recently back--have more will post once I scan them
Some Big Mac recently back from the same sub. Still have various years Finest & BC to sub of Mac from the 90's load.
I came across the 87 Green Backs unloading after moving recently
Couldn't believe I'd been still carrying around the set all this time so I cracked it open. First to sub is these Mac's
The Mac / Davis checklist is just 1 of 12 in Gem. His regular issue is usually found OC. Mine is slightly off L-R but otherwise- I'm happy with the grade since teh length of time lugging around surprised they stayed so well kept.
May have to look at the rest of the items.
I just bought this tonight. Very excited to get it, as it closes out my 81 FASC box run.
Working on the following sets

Recieved these back from a group sub...

Congrats Mike!! That is a nice pull indeed. Alonso might win ROY and Vlad Jr. got all the preseason buzz, but Tatis may have the highest ceiling out of all in this rookie class.
needed these for my set registry to help complete sets..
So, he either stole a base earlier in the game or he ate/drank something that tasted just a little bit off.
Nice Trouts.
I decided to send these to Steve for wrapping and they are now back. Various HOF'ers, Rookies showing and a pretty good chance for a Staubach Rookie two cards in from the McCoy. The Super Pack has a Gale Sayers showing on the back.
Hope everyone has a good 4th of July!!
It will be a good 4th of July. I've got my day already planned.
Hiya Chris - a 2nd yr Bradshaw on top - nice!
While technically not a rookie card, I really like the 2013 Trout over his original 2012 Heritage card. I picked up this sharp WalMart blue parallel to with my base and purple PSA 10 versions. Hoping it grades well.
I added a couple more cards to my 1970 HOF set. I bought the 1968 Hitting Leaders because I like it.
This group sub will probably be my only summer acquisition. Can’t wait to get these back. Well some of them.

Nice job!
Wow, PSA 10's on two 1986 Topps FB cards. I can't imagine the pop numbers are terribly high as that set seems very tough to grade. Are you a 49er fan or is that just a coincidence? You hit some nice prospects in Bowman. In case you haven't been following, Luciano cards are on fire as he is destroying Rookie League pitching in his return from injury.
Added another Roy rookie year card, still sealed. Hopefully more to come this week:

This watch was given to Les Horvath.
I also have his 48B Rookie card...
Les was the first player from Ohio State to win the Heisman Trophy in 1944 while in his freshman year in Ohio State Dental School.
He played 3 yrs in the pros - 2 with the Rams and 1 with Cleveland and then went into private practice. My connection is based on a common profession - and "not" FB!
The watch - which is not worth much does come with a letter from his wife...
My guess? He, with other ex-NFL players and members (coaches, front office...) went to an NFL Alumni dinner and these were on the table along with other items as gifts like when we go to the PSA luncheon and receive items that are on the table.
It was just a coincidence. The 86 cards were from the group break in March. Not the gem mint niners I was looking for but it works. The Tyler is a pop 4 and the carter is a pop 10.
I picked up the Luciano right after release and the price promptly dropped but it looks like a bargain now.
two more to finish off the KGJ rookie set registry..
If you are gonna get some commons, it doesn't hurt them to be Gems! I pulled a Luciano Green Shimmer /99 Auto out of the first cello pack I bought this year. I didn't know who he was until I looked him up on eBay. I sent the card to PSA and it got a 10. I sold it to a member on here earlier this week and it has probably doubled in value in the time it has taken the card to get to him, lol.

@Huskies11 nice cards! That 97 Topps is my favorite base card front, love the action shot!

Thanks! It's one of my favorite action shots as well, although as you're aware his swing naturally lends itself to some amazing photography. It's a shame that the shot happened to be on that particular card though because I've always found the 97 Topps design fairly ugly. Just thought the dark text on the dark red didn't work well.

This is gorgeous, what's the story behind this card? I actually don't think I've come across it before.

I can’t find much on the card.. In 1989 the Franklin Caramel Co. in Chicago (not sure if it ever existed) released 2 series of cards, 12 cards each. This Ken Griffey Jr card is #2 in the second series of 12 cards. I have not been able to find much history on this card. Being unlicensed, is what I assume caused it to be no longer graded. A total of 34 cards were graded.
