What is this sealed set with an 1878 CC Dollar?

Is this a special set of some kind or is it just a privately sealed 'coin collection'?
Thanks!

Not scientific at all, but is the plastic crinkly or soft? Does it have an aroma similar to a plastic shower curtain?

Looks like someone’s 1955 b-day gift. And the someone was likely a female because of the Morgan. WAG.

The Jefferson looks to be a 53'

Collect raw morgans, walkers, mercs, SLQ, barber q. Looking at getting into earlier date coins pre 1900s.

I agree it is a collector assembled group of coins....not a U.S. Mint product....and the nickel is a '53...I would be concerned the plastic is PVC and can damage the coins... Cheers, RickO

If those are all original, and haven't been altered or cleaned, interesting.

Since it's an after mint packaging, get them out of that pvc. Examine them, do a photograde, check for errors or VAM on the Morgan, get them into airtites or 2x2's then we can all rest easy. Peace Roy
