I think that $1400 is a new floor, but what do I know?
I remember the last time gold hit $1900 & silver $49........ anxiously awaiting those days again,,,,,,
I think we're at the beginning of another run-up, maybe past 1900...but the powers that be can eventually tank it again.

Reminds me of "The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire" by Edward Gibbon.
Long periods of slide, then some stabilization, followed by more slide, and even more slide after that.
Gold looks more like the rusty old engine....some old, same-old, sameold, wheezing lines and leaking pipes.
Super time to buy gold. Nice slabbed material close to melt what I am going for.
