1982 d small date?

Hi, new collector here. I have this 1982 d small date (I think). It weighs 3.1 grams. Is this the right one?

It is good to crop your images for a better view.

Edited to add: looks like large date from your images

    Welcome to the forum.

You have a large date example. I think the easiest way to tell is to see how close the “2” in the date is to the rim.

Fourth vote for large date. @thisistheshow posted a great pic that shows th difference between the two. @MFeld pointed out the easiest way to tell the diff is to look at the 2. Also Notice the diff in the 8. On Small dates, it looks like a little snowman while the loops on the LG date are close to the same size. Hope this helps

@Km1000..... Welcome aboard.... I agree with the 'large date' consensus.... Cheers, RickO

  • Thank you guys! I did a little more research and realized I had the large date as well. The first red flag was that I had 3 of them!
