Roman Booteen Hobo Morgan Trap Coin

KnellKnell Posts: 453 ✭✭✭✭✭

Just got my Hobo Morgan Trap coin....

This is not the original coin that sold for more than $10K on eBay but a replica of the coin
with authorization from Roman Booteen. This is #83 of 999 made.

Thanks for looking.

Certainly looks nice... The originals are incredible works of art... not sure of the detail/quality of these without in hand examination... Cheers, RickO

Thanks for the comments. I loved the coin, details looks great in person and mechanism works fine (closes and open easily). I just wish the Gold Dos pesos can be remove and replace with other coin or maybe even a gemstone (IMO).

Well --- He has nice fingernails (although in need of a refresh on the paint job), but what is the purpose or interest in a little metal trap? There's no novelty or surprise value such as is found in disappearing coin and coin snatching devices.

It is kinetic art, not a magic trick.
