@heatherboyd, cancel my subscription to the Resurrection, there's a new sheriff in town. His inability to resist his own internal destructive stimuli made the choice for you all. His refusal to stop stalking me has led me to the conclusion that, since Forum rules allow this, @CJ's rules are "Why would I bother to try to swim upstream against the never-flowing river of shit that flows from this ignoramus' mouth?)

Consider me ready to be banned. Forum, thanks for the memories. Enjoy your new grading resource and history teacher.. >:)

Nice knowing you. Don't let the door...…….. :D

Yikes, what a post! I might not understand everything you post on the first read, but after a bit I think I get it.

The ignore button can be your friend, I have my phasers set on stun and ignore for one blatherer here, it really does help.

Just delete the offending post and say I am sorry. and mean it. Blame the wine or scotch. Blame your wife or Girlfriend (after you buy her 50 red roses and some bling)or just a bad day. we all have these at times. letting others, especially morons, get under your skin is not good. it usually causes some bad reactions....which one later regrets.
Heather and most of us will forgive you.
You are a asset to this forum.....
most of us will miss you.... :|

Maybe he should send $1000 to Mensches for Jesus as well.

@ColonelJessup I've always enjoyed your contributions to the forum. Amazingly I only have one person on ignore and it's not you. :D

There are a lot of forums that clean up problem posts, deleting content not members unless they deserve it. Maybe keeping someone on, under moderated status is preferable than banning someone. Which is a tiny bit like life in prison instead of capital punishment.

CJ, as you can tell from this post, you have a lot of friends and fans here. I echo the idea of editing the 1st post and taking a time out.

A plea for you to stay,
    In the words of Bukowski....

    nobody can save you but
    yourself.
you will be put again and again
    into nearly impossible
    situations.
they will attempt again and again
    through subterfuge, guise and
    force
to make you submit, quit and /or die quietly
    inside.

    nobody can save you but
    yourself
and it will be easy enough to fail
    so very easily
    but don’t, don’t, don’t.
    just watch them.
    listen to them.
do you want to be like that?
    a faceless, mindless, heartless
    being?
    do you want to experience
    death before death?

    nobody can save you but
    yourself
    and you’re worth saving.
it’s a war not easily won
but if anything is worth winning then
    this is it.

    think about it.
    think about saving your self.
    your spiritual self.
    your gut self.
    your singing magical self and
    your beautiful self.
    save it.
    don’t join the dead-in-spirit.

    maintain your self
    with humor and grace
    and finally
    if necessary
wager your self as you struggle,
    damn the odds, damn
    the price.

    only you can save your
    self.

    do it! do it!

    then you’ll know exactly what
    I am talking about.

@Insider2 Well, then I'm glad you read it again ...

    Kind regards,

No need to read it twice. As soon as I got near the end it was perfectly clear.
Sort of like the surprise ending in the "Sting" - one of the VERY FEW times I have ever been totally "blindsided" by a movie plot! :)

Usually I can tell exactly what will happen in a movie. I like to say "I could write 'em."

Consider deleting this thread and having a cup of coffee. The forum is better off with you as a part of it. There will always be differences in opinions, but we can still be civil towards one another.

Careful with your words. Some one told me once the forum was better off with me apart of it.

Yet another situation where the thermonuclear detonation of the preexisting doomsday device could have been averted by the mere presence of the (gasp) disagree button.

There is a rustle from the bowels of the forum- "Thomas Jefferson still survives"

Let us not forget, Acta non verba. Makes the measure of a man

A more subtle approach might have accomplished a smidgen of the same, without the conflagration. Think beneficent, not maleficent. But some rolling stones, or perhaps boulders, cannot be stopped. Sorry to see you go. At least We'll always have Paris.

(that was my best CJ impression, though doesn't hold up that well to the real thing)

Two knowledgable people disagree on some things and one keeps insisting that the other is wrong. Nobody should get banned, but two short time-outs might be in order.
