SGC immune from this?

I have followed the altered cards fiasco somewhat but have not seen any mention of sgc cards. Where there no sgc cards involved or did I miss that?

My personal opinion would be this. If you are trying to maximize your profit as a trimmer / card Dr. you want your vintage cards in PSA and your modern cards in BGS 10 (gold or Black). Left overs probably headed to SGC. So while I won’t say immune I will say that perhaps the search hasn’t yet reached them.

Sgc is not considered as vital to this hobby as psa or bgs.

Would not disagree with this one bit. But if you think that the card Drs. still didn't push PSA fails to SGC I’d bet you’d be mistaken.

They might also avoid a company owned by a former business associate.

Looks like an SGC graded '48 Leaf Jackie Robinson had work done that made Moser an additional 32K in profit.

SGC is on the same level as PSA. While PSA definitely garners higher standing in the community it is quite ridiculous to state that they are not in the same league.

PSA has been involved in many more serious scandals than SGC. And its not even close.

They’ll Never be anywhere near legit.

They pump out grades with few rejections

Their slabs look good but the flips are cartoonish

Seriously- their best work was in pre-war cards and they completely blew it last year.

And when I compare them to pro grading I am implying that snap outs of cards sent to PSA would get the same grade:
(pro 9 or sgc 9= psa 8)
They don’t crossover well, that is what I mean when I say SGC is equal to PRO.

If you can provide SGC cards that are listed equivalent to PRO/USA/etc. prices (i.e., asking price is far lower than typical market rate verified sales prices for SGC, as opposed to being the same as listings for no-namers that are listed but overpriced notably higher than market rate verified sales prices for no-namers), then I am a buyer.
