An opportunity to fill 3 holes in my collection!

This is my collection of Central American Republic dies. All I need is a few planchets and I can strike the following:

1842 NG 2 Escudos (Very Rare)
1836 NG 1 Real (Unknown)
1837 NG 1 Real (Unknown)

Unfortunately, I’ll have to settle for uniface examples of the last two. Could sure use a reverse die!

Why not use them to make one side of a personal token advising collectors and dealers of your interest in that type of coin?

Pretty neat. I have seen dies of the coins I collect once. Recall it was Bolivia 1884 5C or 10C,

I think I have done enough business with you that perhaps you can give me one 😊
Are you going to Long Beach ?

That is a sweet business card! How can I acquire one?

I seem to remember the Reale dies (at least, but maybe all 3) in a Ponterio auction some years back. I also remember losing the bidding on them (and all the high-grade dies) because I was at a Mexico City show during the auction.

Did you just acquire these or did you win them at the aforementioned auction?

Some of them came from that sale.

Others from a source in Costa Rica many years ago.

I'm glad you were in Mexico!!!

Sweeeeeeet group! I love collecting CAR coins and think that is a pretty cool way to get your name out there. I'm a bit surprised that the dies weren't "cancelled" or at least defaced before they were sold.

I'd love to get one of your "business cards" Andy...maybe I'll meet you if I can make it to the ANA in Chicago and you have a table.
